Basics

The MFP is a

Printer

Copy Machine

Scanner

Fax Machine

There are two public MFP’s and two “private” MFP’s in the library.

Public MFP’s are located on the first and second floors. Reference students are responsible for checking that there is adequate paper in the first floor MFP at the beginning of their shift.

All public library computers can be set to print to either MFP in the event that one is out of order.

Only the MFP located in the reference staff area has the capacity to send faxes.

Printing/Copying

Printing

All copies made by Hope College students, staff, and faculty are FREE

Guests are also welcome to use our resources on  limited basis and will be charged .10 for every copy made

Guests should pay at the circulation desk

Scanning is free for everyone. Place the material to be scanned in either the top feeder tray or on the glass, select e-mail from the menu and type in your Hope College e-mail address. Select “go” to start the scan.

Scanned items take seconds to arrive in your in-box as a PDF.

Scanning only works for single-sided copies

Faxing is also free to Hope College students, staff, and faculty. Please use the MFP located in the reference staff area to send a fax.

Place the copies in either the top feeder tray or on the glass, select “fax” from the menu and type in the fax number.

All faxes should follow this format:
