We have some commentaries that are online and available through PRIMO, but some of our commentaries are physical books held in the library. Here's some information about where they are located.
The Reference Section:
-Location: 1st floor of the library
-Call Numbers:
BS 491 section (first row of shelving from the entrance)
Genre: Commentaries, Location Reference Search
Regular Stacks/Collection:
-Location: Fourth Floor of the Library
-Call Numbers:
BS 485-494 (fair amount of Single Volume commentaries, like The Women's Bible Commentary)
BS 1900-BS 2900 New Testament (fair amount of multi-volume commentaries)
Browsing the shelves is an old school research technique that still has great value today! If you can find one book that relates to your topic, look around on the shelves as there are likely more of them around, because our holdings are organized by subject matter.
But, also don't forget you can Virtually Browse in PRIMO, and that we also have commentaries available electronically through PRIMO.
