Ask A Librarian FAQs: Articles

Articles

ARTICLE SEARCH BY TITLE

Simply type the article title in to the libary's main search box.

Example article title: Protect me not: The effect of tariffs on U.S. supply networks

If the library has access to the article you are looking for, a title search like this should bring it up first in your results list.

Click on the title in your results list to see additional information and access options, or simply click on the "Download PDF" link to go directly to the full text.

If you are not finding what you need you can submit an Interlibrary Loan request or email askalibrarian@hope.edu for further assistance.

Articles (cont'd)

If you found an article somewhere online from off campus and are running up against access issues (paywall), check the library for it using the instruction on this page.

If the article you found is located on the journal publisher's website (i.e., Sage, Elsevier, Wiley, Springer, Project Muse, etc.) try copying and pasting the URL into the library's URL Converter which will convert it to one that will allow access through the library if available.
