Clean-Up SweepsClean-up Sweeps are a daily shift task that happens before the library closes each night. If you have been assigned the Clean-up Sweep task in your shift notes, here's what to do.
Walk though the library building starting on the 4th floor and working your way down. Check the shelving carts on each floor and collect any books that patrons have left there. Also pick up any books that patrons have left in random places, like on tables, in carrels, or in classrooms and study rooms. Take the items down to the Circ desk and scan them into "Scan in Items" with the "Register in-house use" button checked, then put them on the shelving carts to be shelved the next day.

Here are the locations of the carts to check on your sweep:
4th Floor: the shelving cart is next to the main staircase.
3rd Floor: the shelving cart is next to the main staircase.
2nd Floor: One cart is at the end of the Early Readers range in Curriculum.
2nd Floor: the second cart is in Curriculum across from the DML desk.
Lower Level: one cart is just in front of the stairs.
Lower Level: the second cart is near the bathrooms
