Timesheets
Expectations for Timesheets
- Get paid! Submit your timesheets by the deadline. Pay periods are every two weeks, and timesheets are due by midnight every other Friday. You will get a Sling reminder from your supervisor on the day that timesheets are due. It is extremely important that you submit your timesheets before the deadline, because no changes can be made after the deadline.
- Enter your hours accurately. The hours entered on your timesheet must accurately reflect the hours that you actually worked, not the hours that you were scheduled. If you were late, sick, or had permission to leave early, the hours entered on your timesheet must reflect those changes. Entering hours that you did not work can result in disciplinary action.
- Enter your hours in 5-minute increments.
- You can't work more than 20 hours per week. When you're picking up sub shifts, make sure the extra time won't put you over 20 hours that week. If you're working another campus job, the combined total number of hours worked for both jobs must be under 20 hours each week.
Pro Tips
- Be on time! Arriving and leaving on time cuts down on confusion when you're filling out your timesheet.
- Don't wait until the end of the pay period to start entering your hours. After two weeks, it can be hard to remember if the hours you worked were any different than your scheduled hours. Don't risk entering your hours inaccurately.
- Set a calendar reminder for yourself so that you remember to submit your timesheet every other Friday by midnight.
